Swedish HANDIC 5050 Stereo Receiver

So this is the inaugural post of this blog, suggested by my wife, who was getting sick of listening to me talk about vintage (and non-vintage) audio gear. In the coming posts, I'll highlight items of note from my manly pursuits: namely cars, audio, and sweet sweet booze.

The photos below are of a rare swedish receiver that I am seriously contemplating picking up, if only b/c of its hellaciously awesome color scheme. The truth is, I don't need another receiver, and there's a good chance the better half would bust one of her cute little gaskets, but I want to pair this with an awesome set of mod speakers, like the scandyna minipods, and hunt around until I find the matching turntable.
